LAWRENCE COUNTY EMERGENCY CREWS WERE CALLED TO LORETTO HIGH SCHOOL FRIDAY NIGHT AFTER A YOUNG CHILD WAS INJURED AS A RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT.  MEMBERS OF LAWRENCE COUNTY E-M-S RESPONDED TO LM FORSYTHE FIELD JUST BEFORE 8 ON A REPORT THAT A CHILD HAD FALLEN FROM THE TOP OF BLEACHERS DURING THE SCHOOL'S FOOTBALL GAME.  THE CHILD FELL FROM THE AREA OF THE HOME SIDE OF THE FACILITY NEAR THE PRESS BOX.  RESCUERS WERE WITH THE VICTIM WITHIN MINUTES OF THE INCIDENT WHO WAS LATER AIRLIFTED TO A REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOR FUTHER TREATMENT OF INJURIES.
