LAWRENCEBURG POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SERIES OF THEFT AND VANDALISM REPORTS THAT OCCURRED OVER THE WEEKEND.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS ON FRIDAY, POLICE RESPONDED TO WALMART REGARDING AN INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED THURSDAY IN WHICH A SUBJECT CAME INTO THE STORE AND LEFT WITH A BB GUN AND SPIDER WRAP, TOTAL LOSS $87.  A SECOND INCIDENT ON FRIDAY AT WALMART, A SUBJECT WAS PURSUED BY AFTER NOTICING THE SUBJECT HAD PUT SEVERAL ITEMS INTO A BACKPACK AND WAS LEAVING THE STORE.  SECURITY TRIED TO STOP THE INDIVIDUAL BUT WAS UNABLE TO CATCH THE SUBJECT ON FOOT BUT WAS ABLE TO RETRIEVE THE ITEMS.  JUST A FEW OF THE ITEMS INCLUDED A FLASHLIGHT, HEADPHONES, RIB-EYES AND BACON.  TOTAL LOSS $199.  ON SATURDAY OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A RESIDENCE ON 3RD STREET REGARDING A 2001 WHITE NISSAN FRONTIER TRUCK THAT WAS TAKEN SOMETIME BETWEEN FRIDAY EVENING AND SATURDAY MORNING. ESTIMATED VALUE $3000.00  SATURDAY EVENING OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A RESIDENCE ON DAWN AVE IN WHICH SOMEONE TEMPTED TO BREAK IN.  THE COMPLAINANT ADVISED SHE WAS IN THE LIVING ROOM OF HER HOME WHEN SHE HEARD A LOUD NOISE, SHE IMMEDIATELY CALLED 911.  WHEN OFFICERS CHECKED THE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENCE THEY NOTICES A WINDOW SCREEN THAT HAD BEEN BENT BACKWARDS.  OFFICERS RESPONDED BACK TO WALMART ON SATURDAY REGARDING A STOLEN PHONE.  A CUSTOMER ADVISED HE HAD LAID THE PHONE DOWN TO PAY FOR ITEMS AND WALKED OUT WITHOUT IT, REALIZING HE LEFT IT HE RETURNED TO RETRIEVE IT AND IT WAS GONE.  TOTAL LOSS $800.00.  AND ON SUNDAY, POLICE RESPONDED TO DELLER ST REGARDING A VANDALISM THAT OCCURRED IN WHICH A 2003 SILVER NISSAN ALTIMA HAD TWO DRIVER SIDE TIRES SLASHED, IT WAS BELIEVED TO HAVE HAPPENED SOMETIME IN THE MORNING AROUND 2 IN THE MORNING.  ESTIMATED VALUE $150.00
