SEVERAL ITEMS WERE STOLEN FROM A FALL RIVER ROAD PROPERTY OVER THE WEEKEND.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS FROM THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO THE RESIDENCE SATURDAY IN REFERENCE TO STOLEN ITEMS TAKEN FROM A HOUSE.  UPON ARRIVAL, THE DEPUTIES WERE SHOWN THE BROKEN WINDOW WHICH IS BELIEVED HOW THE SUSPECTS ENTERED.  SEVERAL HAND TOOLS AND ELECTRICAL TOOLS WERE TAKEN, ALONG WITH DAMAGE TO THE WINDOW AND THE SLIDING DOOR.  ESTIMATED LOSS TOTALING $1986 DOLLARS.  ALSO THIS WEEKEND DEPUTIES RESPONDED ON SUNDAY TO A RESIDENCE ON TENNESSEE ST IN WESTPOINT IN REGARDS TO A HORSE BEING SHOT.  THE HORSE, WHICH WAS SHOT SOMETIME SATURDAY EVENING, APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN SHOT BY A SMALL CALIBER WEAPON.  THE VICTIM ADVISED HE DID NOT HE DID NOT WHO WOULD HAVE DONE THIS BUT DID HEAR PEOPLE TARGET SHOOTING IN THE AREA AROUND 8 O'CLOCK THE NIGHT BEFORE.
