LAWRENCEBURG POLICE ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING SOME RECENT CASES OF THEFT AND BURGLARY. ACCORDING TO REPORTS POLICE RESPONDED TO JACKSON ST TUESDAY IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY. UPON ARRIVAL, THEY SPOKE TO THE RESIDENT, WHO ADVISED THAT SOMEONE HAD GOTTEN INTO HIS HOUSE AND HAD TAKEN A TELEVISION AND SOME MEDICATION. THE INCIDENT WAS BELIEVED TO HAVE HAPPENED AROUND 2:30. THE SUSPECT CAME THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW AND GONE THROUGH CABINETS IN BOTH THE BATHROOMS AND KITCHEN. THE ESTIMATED LOSS VALUE IS $900.00. POLICE ALSO SPOKE WITH A LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER REGARDING AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS BEEN COMING TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT ON WEST GAINES BETWEEN 1 TO 4 AM SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS AND MESSING WITH THEIR BREAKER BOX AND QUARTER MACHINE. THE SUBJECT HAS BEEN USING A STICK TO GET QUARTERS OUT OF THE MACHINE. THE SUSPECT IS A WHITE MALE, WITH DARK HAIR AND APPEARS TO BE IN HIS TWENTIES OR THIRTIES. TOTAL ESTIMATED LOSS VALUE $300.00.
