A FLORENCE MAN PLEADED GUILTY TUESDAY TO THE CHARGE OF CAPITAL MURDER.

ACCORDING TO THE TIMES DAILY, RONNIE CREDILLE, 40, OF FLORENCE, PLEADED GUILTY TUESDAY AND FACED A COLBERT COUNTY JUDGE WITH A PLEA IN WHICH HE WOULD RECEIVE LIFE IN PRISON WITHOUT PAROLE.

THE COLBERT COUNTY CHIEF ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY KYLE BROWN SPOKE WITH THE VICTIM'S FAMILY AND WITH THE PLEA AGREEMENT THIS WOULD ASSURE HE WOULD NEVER GET OUT.

CREDILLE WAS CHARGED WITH THE 2016 SHOOTING DEATH OF JASON FOX OF MUSCLE SHOALS. ERICA FOX, THE VICTIM'S WIFE, ALSO HAD A CAPITAL MURDER TRIAL SCHEDULED FOR EARLIER THIS MONTH BUT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO A REQUEST FOR A MENTAL EVALUATION.

CREDILLE IS EXPECTED TO TESTIFY AGAINST FOX.
