SEVERAL ITEMS WERE TAKEN FROM A RESIDENCE ON DUNN LEOMA ROAD SUNDAY EVENING. ACCORDING TO REPORTS FROM THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, DEPUTIES WERE CALLED OUT TO THE RESIDENCE ON MONDAY AFTER THE COMPLAINANT HAD DISCOVERED SOMEONE HAD BROKE INTO HIS SHOP AND TAKEN NUMEROUS TOOLS. ESTIMATED LOSS INCLUDING DAMAGES IS APPROXIMATELY $3000.

ALSO IN THE COUNTY, TWO VEHICLES ON FIVE POINTS ROAD SUSTAINED BROKEN SIDE WINDOWS ON FRIDAY NIGHT. ACCORDING TO REPORTS, THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO A RESIDENCE REGARDING SHOTS BEING FIRED AT VEHICLES. THE VICTIM ADVISED HE HEARD HIS DOGS BARKING AND WENT TO SEE WHAT THEY WERE BARKING AT WHEN HE HEARD WHAT SOUNDED LIKE GUNFIRE AND SAW A BURGANDY FORD F150 DRIVE. THE VICTIM FOLLOWED THE TRUCK, WHILE CALLING 911 AND WAS ABLE TO GIVE A PARTIAL PLATE NUMBER TO DISPATCH. DEPUTIES WERE ABLE TO GET A POSSIBLE MATCH AND WENT TO THE ADDRESS THE VEHICLE WAS REGISTERED TO BUT WAS UNABLE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE OWNER TO SEE WHO MAY HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.
