NEW DETAILS HAVE SURFACED INVOLVING THE FATAL SHOOTING IN PULASKI INVOLVING A PREGNANT TEENAGER.

ACCORDING TO MEDIA REPORTS, SAMANTHA "STORMY" CARTER, 16, OF LEOMA, WHO WAS 22 WEEKS PREGNANT, WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD AROUND 7 PM MONDAY EVENING IN A ROOM AT THE RICHLAND INN ON WEST COLLEGE STREET. CARTER SHARED THE ROOM WITH HER BOYFRIEND, COLTON PERRYMAN, 18.  CARTER, WHO WAS A STUDENT AT LORETTO HIGH SCHOOL, WAS TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL AND DIED HOURS LATER FROM HER INJURIES. PERRYMAN WAS ARRESTED AND FACES TWO COUNTS OF SECOND DEGREE MURDER; ONE FOR THE SOON TO BE MOTHER AND ONE FOR THE UNBORN CHILD AS WELL AS ONE COUNTY OF TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE. HE IS BEING HELD AT THE GILES COUNTY JAIL ON $900,000 BOND.
