A COLBERT COUNTY MAN HAS BEEN INDICTED ON MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES STEMMING FROM A FATAL ACCIDENT THAT OCCURRED ON DECEMBER 4TH NEAR UNCLE JOE'S TRUCK STOP IN TUSCUMBIA.  ACCORDING TO THE TIMES DAILY, TRAVIS DEWAYNE SIMPSON, 46, WAS DRIVING A FORD MUSTANG THAT COLLIDED WITH THE REAR OF A TRAILER HAULING HAY ON ALABAMA 20, KILLING TUESDAY DAWN SMITH, 39, OF FLORENCE, WHO WAS A PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE. REPORTS INDICATE HE WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT.  SIMPSON WAS ARRESTED ON THE INDICTMENT AND LATER RELEASED ON BAIL OF $20,000.
