OFFICIALS WITH THE U.S. SPACE AND ROCKET CENTER HAS ANNOUNCED THAT PATHFINDER SPACE SHUTTLE WILL SOON BE REMOVED AND RESTORED WITH THE HELP FROM A COMPANY IN LORETTO. MEDIA SOURCES REPORT, THE ORBITER HAS A BEEN A FEATURE AT THE ROCKET CENTER SINCE 1988 AND WAS ORIGINALLY USED TO TEST HANDLING, TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER PROCEDURES FOR THE SPACE SHUTTLE PROGRAM. THE COMPANY WILL WORK WITH NASA TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT AND COST OF THE NEEDED RESTORATION WORK. THE PROJECT IS BEING PAID FOR BY A GRANT ALONG WITH DONATIONS.
