A JOINT INVESTIGATION INTO THE SALE OF HEROIN AND FENTANYL RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF 36 YEAR OLD KODY PRIER OF 41 CENTER POINT ROAD, LAWRENCEBURG, TN. THE INVESTIGATION WAS CONDUCTED BY INV. GERROD SHIREY,  A MEMBER OF THE 22ND JUDICIAL DRUG TASK FORCE AND PULASKI POLICE DEPARTMENT. HE WAS ASSISTED BY MEMBERS OF THE TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION,  22ND JUDICIAL DRUG TASK FORCE, GILES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND THE PULASKI POLICE DEPARTMENT. PRIER WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY THE US MARSHALL'S SERVICE ON MARCH 25, 2021.

PRIER FACES CHARGES THAT INCLUDE: 3 COUNTS OF THE SALE OF HEROIN/FENTANYL, 1 COUNT OF THE SALE OF FENTANYL, 4 COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, AND 1 COUNT OF AGGRAVATED CHILD ENDANGERMENT. PRIER REMAINS IN THE GILES COUNTY JAIL ON A $390,000 DOLLAR BOND.
