TENNESSEE HEALTH COMMISSIONER LISA PIERCEY AND THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH HAS ANNOUNCED THAT THE STATE OF TENNESSEE HAS NOW REACHED AND SURPASSED THE LANDMARK OF ONE MILLION TENNESSEANS FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST THE COVID-19 VIRUS. ADDITIONALLY, APPROXIMATELY 22 PERCENT HAVE RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE DOSE OF THE VACCINE. HEALTH COMMISSIONER PIERCEY EXPECTS THAT THIS NUMBER WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE RAPIDLY AS VACCINE IS MORE WIDELY AVAILABLE.
