AAA HAS RELEASED THEIR GAS PRICE REPORT WHICH INDICATES THAT GASOLINE DEMAND JUMPED UPWARD BY NEARLY 4% SINCE THE PRIOR WEEK. THIS INCREASE IN DEMAND CAUSED FLUCTUATION IN REGIONAL GAS PRICES RANGING FROM A SLIGHT DECREASE TO AN INCREASE OF 15 CENTS IN SOME PLACES. THE NATION AVERAGE IS $2.87 WHICH IS 12 CENTS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A MONTH AGO AND NEARLY A DOLLAR MORE EXPENSIVE THAN A YEAR AGO. GILES AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE SEEING A SLIGHT INCREASE WITH AVERAGE PRICES FLUCTUATING AROUND $2.60 PER GALLON. AAA ANTICIPATES PRICES WILL CONTINUE TO RISE AS MORE PEOPLE BEGIN TO TRAVEL FOR VACATIONS AND WEATHER TURNS WARMER.
