A SERIES OF BUSINESSES WERE DAMAGED OVER THE WEEKEND ALONG US 72 IN LAUDERDALE COUNTY DUE TO A STRUCTURE FIRE. ACCORDING TO THE TIMES DAILY, EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE DISPATCHED JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY TO THE BUILDING THAT INCLUDED SEVERAL BUSINESSES INCLUDING CITY LIMITS CAFE, SOUTHERN BLISS HAIR SALON, HENSLEY RV SALES, BARNS AND ATTICS, FARMER'S INSURANCE AND NEW RIDE AUTO SALES. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND ALL BUSINESSES WERE CLOSED AT THE TIE OF THE FIRE. MEMBERS OF THE ELGIN, KILLEN, GREENHILL, ROGERSVILLE, CENTER STAR, MID-LAUDERDALE AND FLORENCE FIRE DEPARTMENTS RESPONDED. THE LAUDERDALE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, KILLEN POLICE, FLORENCE UTILITIES AND SHOALS AMBULANCE ALSO RESPONDED.
