A LAWRENCE COUNTY WOMAN WAS KILLED MONDAY IN A FATAL CRASH IN ALABAMA. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE AT THE INTERSECTION OF US 43 AND LAUDERDALE COUNTY 364 JUST NORTH OF KILLEN AROUND 2:50 PM. INITIAL REPORTS INDICATE PATRICIA MASHBURN, 81, OF LAWRENCEBURG WAS DRIVING HER 2003 CHEVROLET MALIBU WHEN SHE WAS STRUCK BY 20 YEAR OLD NEHEMIAH HENRY OF FLORENCE, WHO FAILED TO YIELD THE RIGHT OF WAY AT A STOP SIGN. MASHBURN PERISHED AT THE SCENE. TWO PASSENGERS WITH MASHBURN WERE TRANSPORTED TO NORTH ALABAMA MEDICAL CENTER WITH MINOR INJURIES. THE ACCIDENT IS BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE ALABAMA LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY'S HIGHWAY PATROL .
