Alabama will postpone the remainder of their 50th anniversary tour due to lead singer Randy Owen's ongoing complications with cluster migraines and vertigo.
A release from the band states that they had hoped to continue its record-breaking 50-city tour, but doctors have advised more time is needed for Owen to fully recover.
Alabama kicked off their 50th anniversary tour in January, more than a year after founding member Jeff Cook announced he has Parkinson’s disease. In May, the band added an additional 29 dates to the tour that were scheduled to run through November.
Rescheduled dates for the more than 20 tour stops are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
