A FORMER HICKMAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTY HAS BEEN INDICTED ON ONE COUNT OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND ONE COUNT OF OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT.  ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, TBI AGENTS BEGAN INVESTIGATING AN INCIDENT IN JULY AT THE REQUEST 21ST JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY GENERAL KIM HELPER THAT OCCURRED IN A PARKING LOT OF AN ADULT BOOK STORE NEAR THE BUCKSNORT EXIT OFF OF I 40.  DURING THE INVESTIGATION, AGENTS DEVELOPED INFORMATION THAT KENNETH DEWAYNE LYNN ASSAULTED A HOHENWALD MAN DURING AN EFFORT TO EXECUTE AN ARREST.  LYNN RESIGNED SHORTLY AFTER.  LAST WEEK, THE INDICTMENTS WERE RETURNED BY THE HICKMAN COUNTY GRAND JURY AND LYNN WAS ARRESTED AND BOOKED INTO THE HICKMAN COUNTY JAIL ON TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND.
