THE LAWRENCEBURG CITY COUNCIL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION THIS MORNING. LEADERS ENTERTAINED A LENGTHY AGENDA IN WHICH ALL ITEMS WERE VOTED ON AND APPROVED. AMONG THE ITEMS INCLUDED AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING VARIOUS PROPERTIES, AN AMENDMENT TO THE BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2018-2019 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC WORKS AND THE RESTRUCTURING OF THE HISTORICAL ZONING COMMISSION WHICH WILL NOW BE COMPRISED OF JOHN FERGUSON, JUSTIN HOLT, RANDY SHOOK, CLINT EVERS AND JERRY HUGHES. THE HISTORICAL ZONING COMMISSION WILL NOW MEET PRIOR TO THE MONTHLY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING. CITY ADMINISTRATOR CHRIS SCHAFFER ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WILL BE LOOKING AT CODES AS THEY PERTAIN TO BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES THAT HAVE VARIOUS VEHICLES PARKED IN THEIR LOTS. THE PROPOSED CHANGES WILL BE POSTED ON THE LAWRENCEBURG CITY WEBSITE AND IT IS HOPED TO GET INPUT FROM THOSE THAT WOULD BE AFFECTED REGARDING THE ORDINANCE. THE COUNCIL WILL MEET AGAIN ON MARCH 28TH.
