MAURY COUNTY RESIDENTS WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE INVOLVED IN THE SOUTH CORRIDOR TRANSPORTATION STUDY WHICH LAUNCHED EARLIER THIS MONTH. THE STUDY IS EXPECTED TO BE VITAL IN THE EXPANDING OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS AND WILL HELP ADDRESS TRAFFIC CONGESTION ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE. A SERIES OF PUBLIC WORKSHOPS WILL BE HELD IN THE THREE COUNTIES THAT MAKE UP THE SOUTH CORRIDOR TO GET INPUT ON WHAT TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS ARE IMPORTANT. THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS WHICH WILL BEGIN AT 5:30 PM: MAURY COUNTY ON APRIL 29TH AT THE MEMORIAL BUILDING ON WEST SEVENTH STREET IN COLUMBIA, WILLIAMSON COUNTY ON APRIL 30TH AT THE WILLIAMSON COUNTY LIBRARY AND DAVIDSON COUNTY ON MONDAY MAY 6TH AT THE ADVENTURE SCIENCE CENTER.
