A MISSISSIPPI MAN IS DEAD AFTER TWO PEDESTRIANS WERE STRUCK BY A VEHICLE TUESDAY NIGHT IN CRUMP.  EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE ON US 64 WEST NEAR THE VALERO GAS STATION IN HARDIN COUNTY AROUND 11 PM. INITIAL REPORTS INDICATE KIRK L. MCCALLISTER JONES, 23, OF MORRIS CHAPEL, WAS DRIVING A 2008 NISSAN ROUGE WHEN JACOB L. PINTER, 32, OF CARTHAGE, MISSISSIPPI AND LUCAS M MCCLAIN, 27, OF SELMER, ENTERED HIS PATH AND WERE HIT.  PINTER WAS KILLED WHILE MCCLAIN WAS INJURED AND TRANSPORTED FOR TREATMENT OF HIS INJURIES.  THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL INVESTIGATED THE INCIDENT.
