LAWRENCEBURG CITY POLICE IS INVESTIGATING SOME RECENT STORAGE UNIT THEFTS.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS, OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO 1910 BUFFALO ROAD TO SPEAK TO VARIOUS COMPLAINANTS REGARDING UNITS THAT HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO.  AMONG THE ITEMS TAKEN INCLUDED HUNTING AND FISHING SUPPLIES, AN AIR COMPRESSOR, AN ANTIQUE TABLE, A 55 INCH TV AND TOOLS.  THE TOTAL LOSS VALUES VARIED FROM CLOSE TO 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR ONE UNIT TO 18 HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR ANOTHER AND OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A THIRD.  THE OWNER OF THE STORAGE UNITS TOLD OFFICERS HE HAD CALLED 8 DIFFERENT RENTERS THAT HE NOTICED LOCKS WEREN'T ON THEIR DOORS.
