A TRAFFIC STOP OVER THE WEEKEND LED TO THE ARREST OF A LAWRENCE COUNTY MAN.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS, DEPUTIES WITH THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT INITIATED A TRAFFIC STOP FRIDAY IN THE AREA OF WEAKLEY CREEK ROAD AND BEUERLINE CIRCLE. A SEARCH OF THE VEHICLE RESULTED IN THE DISCOVERY OF TWO BAGGIES WITH A CLEAR CRYSTAL SUBSTANCE BELIEVED TO BE METHAMPHETAMINE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.  THE DRIVER, CLINTON CHRISTOPHER HOGAN, 47, OF LAWRENCEBURG, WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ALONG WITH DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.
