A LATE FRIDAY NIGHT TRAFFIC CRASH CLAIMED THE LIVES TO TWO GILES COUNTY RESIDENTS.  THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL INDICATES A 2004 MAZDA DRIVEN BY 21 YEAR OLD ASHLEY ROLIN OF PULASKI WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON HIGHWAY 166 WHEN THE CAR VEERED OFF THE ROADWAY INTO GRASS, STRUCK A MAILBOX AND THEN A BRIDGE RAIL.  THE INCIDENT OCCURRED JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT NEAR THE HANNA ROAD INTERSECTION. ROLIN AND 28 YEAR OLD MISTY MCFANN OF PULASKI, WHO WAS A PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE, BOTH DIED FROM THEIR INJURIES.  A FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD, ALSO IN THE CAR, WAS INJURED.  TROOPERS NOTED THAT NO CHILD RESTRAINT DEVICE WAS IN USE DURING THE CRASH HOWEVER THE CHILD AND BOTH ADULTS WERE WEARING SEAT BELTS. THE CRASH WAS INVESTIGATED BY TROOPER DAVID HILL.
