A PAIR OF TRAFFIC CRASHES KEPT LAWRENCE COUNTY RESCUERS BUSY SATURDAY.  MEMBERS OF THE NEW PROSPECT FIRE DEPARTMENT WERE CALLED TO A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT JUST BEFORE 3 PM ON HIGHWAY 64 NEAR THE PROSSER ROAD INTERSECTION.  REPORTS INDICATE ONE CAR INVOLVED IN THE MATTER HAD FLIPPED A NUMBER OF TIMES.  LAWRENCE COUNTY EMS TRANSPORTED AT LEAST ONE PERSON FROM THE SCENE FOR TREATMENT OF THEIR INJURIES.  JUST AFTER 5 PM ETHRIDGE AND SUMMERTOWN FIRE CREWS RESPONDED TO A HEAD-ON CRASH BETWEEN A PAIR OF VEHICLES ON HIGHWAY 43 NORTH NEAR EAST EDAN ROAD.  MINOR INJURIES WERE REPORTED FROM THAT CRASH.  BOTH INCIDENTS WERE INVESTIGATED BY THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL.
