Martin Methodist College will welcome in excess of 900 traditional, non-traditional, transfer, and dual-enrollment students on campus next week to begin the College’s 150th academic year.

MMC Welcome Week will begin with Move-In Day on Saturday, August 17th.

Faculty, staff, and upperclassmen will greet new students, moving them into their dorms and preparing them to begin their college careers at MMC.

Welcome Week activities will continue throughout the week. Students will enjoy games on the campus green plus a cookout at East campus.

On Tuesday, August 20, about 450 MMC students, staff, and faculty will fill downtown Pulaski in a sea of red shirts for a day full of community service. That evening, MMC will host its annual Welcome Week concert, featuring the band Utopia. Admission to the concert is free for all. Music begins at 6:30 p.m., so bring a lawn chair, blanket, and picnic basket to enjoy some music under the columns before a fireworks show at dark!

The 2019-2020 academic year will officially begin on the first day of class and will conclude with MMC’s Flock the Block party on Thursday, August 22.
