A section of Pulaski will be cordoned off Thursday and Friday evening as film crews will spend four hours shooting a commercial for Farm Bureau.

According to the film director, road closure will be intermittent  between Washington, Flowers and First Streets.

He said that Farm Bureau started in 1947 and the scenery will go back to the times with older vehicles parading around the Historic Pulaski Courthouse plus old signs in buildings around the public square.

Times of the filming will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 p.m. on Friday.

The Pulaski City Board approved the filming during a monthly meeting on Tuesday.

According to the director, downtown Pulaski was chosen after touring several other towns.

The first commercial spot will be aired on state television beginning September 9th.
