Early voting will continue through Tuesday for the March 3 Presidential Preference Primary and Republican Primary in Giles County.

The Giles County Republican Party chose to have a primary, while the county Democratic Party did not. If asked, State law requires counties to hold primary elections.

Republican presidential candidates on the March 3 ballot are President Donald J. Trump, Joe Walsh and Bill Weld.

Democratic presidential candidates include: Michael Bennet, Joseph R. Biden, Michael R. Bloomberg, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, John K. Delaney, Tulsi Gabbard, Amy Klobuchar, Deval Patrick, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Elizabeth Warren, Marianne Williamson and Andrew Yang.

Some candidates have suspended their campaigns since the withdrawal deadline passed for the March 3 ballot.

Voters also can select committed and uncommitted congressional delegates at large in the Seventh Congressional District and committed and uncommitted delegates at large.

The Giles County Election Commission office is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday for early voting.
