A Pulaski Electric System employee has been dismissed from her duties after missing funds were uncovered.
In a press release by Pulaski Electric System Richard Kelley today it states that on February 17th, PES dismissed an employee after an investigation revealed missing utility funds.
Even though the amount of funds handled by this employee was significant, the loss of funds to PES was less than $3,000 dollars and full restitution will be made.
During the investigation 3 additional employees were relieved of their duties due to having some knowledge of the issue and mismanagement of the situation.
These employees are in no way being accused of misappropriating any funds.
Names of the employees were not released to WKSR by news time.
