An investigation continues by the Giles County Sherriff's Criminal Investigation Division in a Saturday altercation that left one person shot.
Deputies responded to 220 Cline Street in Lynnville about the altercation and shooting.
The caller advised E-911 that they had shot an individual that came into their residence.
When deputies arrived on the scene aide was rendered to the individual until the arrival of Giles Emergency Management Service.
The patient could not be transported via helicopter due to inclement weather resulting in ground transport to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The individual is listed in stable condition.
Names have not been released by the sheriff's department.
