Storms throughout Giles County Sunday morning caused damage and flooding throughout the region.
The roof on Walker Wrecker Service on North First Street blew off during the storms onto Giles County Furniture causing damage to the top of the building and 3 vehicles in the parking area.
Giles County Road Superintendent reported flooding, trees down, and bridge damage in the county.
Roads in the county that were flooded are back open in and some bridge repairs will be completed today (Monday).
A heat advisory is in effect for Giles County and parts of Middle Tennessee on Wednesday through the weekend with temperatures feeling over 100 degrees during the afternoon.
