Numbers continued to climb Wednesday in Giles County for COVID-19.
Reports show 143 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19, and forty-seven of those confirmed cases have now recovered.
The negative test rose to 2,873 up from 2,785 was reported Wednesday with one fatality in Giles County.
Test results in surrounding counties are: Lawrence increasing to 262 positive, 4,029 negative, 107 recovered, six fatalities; Lincoln with 111 positive, 2,770 negative, 54 recovered; Marshall has 141 positive, 2,579 negative, 73 recovered, two fatalities; and Maury with 529 positive, 6,866 negative, 288 recovered, three fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has reported 69,061 total cases, 1,016,685 negative tests, 783 fatalities, and 39,857 recovered.
