The Tennessee Department of Health released its full COVID-19 update Tuesday night after a technical delay.
TDH reports an additional 2,555 COVID-19 cases, bringing the state's total to 99,044 and 999 deaths.
Giles County increased to 299 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 as of 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Of those confirmed cases, 107 have now recovered.
In Tuesday update, negative tests rose to 4,263, up from 4,119.
Seven fatalities have now been reported in Giles County.
Test results in surrounding counties are: Lawrence with 404 positives, 5,197 negative, 229 recovered, six fatalities; Lincoln increased to 208 positives, 3,551 negative, 95 recovered, one fatality; Marshall with 221 positive, 3,821 negative, 117 recovered, two fatalities; and Maury has 933 positive, 10,154 negative, 475 recovered, four fatalities.
As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, Tennessee has reported 99,044 total cases, 1,318,884 negative tests, 999 fatalities, and 59,760 recovered.   20
