In presence of COVID-19 among Richland football staff and players the school is requiring all players to participate as virtual students this week.
According to Richland Principal Micah Landers, this is strictly for precaution and they currently have no evidence of widespread exposure within our student population. If someone has been in close contact with a positive case of COVID, the student will be contacted by school officials and be asked to remain quarantined for fourteen days.
All football games for this week are canceled, and there will not be any football-related activities on campus.
Landers said that during this time, students and staff please closely monitor your health and notify Richland School in the event you feel the need to be tested for COVID.
