Martin Methodist College representatives joined the University of Tennessee President Randy Boyd Thursday morning for a tour of the new Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center in Lawrenceburg.
The Center, set to be home to offerings from Tennessee Tech, Columbia State, MMC, among other schools, is entering the final phase of its construction. The multimillion-dollar, 40,000 square foot facility features 15 classrooms, science laboratories, a library, computer labs, meeting rooms, a community room, and much more.
Leaders are hopeful that, pending the outcome of Martin Methodist’s desire to join the UT System, programs at the Lawrenceburg facility could further expand.
