More than 919,763 unemployment claims have been filed in Tennessee since mid-March, according to data released Thursday morning by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce.
In Giles County, continued unemployment claims were 225 and initial claims were 30.
The department reported the number of new claims in Tennessee for the week ending November 14th was 6,182.
The number of continued unemployment claims in Tennessee was 53,976 for the week ending November 14th, which is down from the previous week.
