Giles County increased to 1,356 patients Monday who has tested positive for COVID-19 with 1,140 are now considered inactive or recovered.
Forty-three fatalities have now been reported and 173 active case counts.
Fifty-eight Giles County residents have been hospitalized since early May.
Test results in surrounding area are: Lawrence with 2,507 positive, 17,530 negative, 2,123 inactive, 32 fatalities; Lincoln has 1,463 positive, 11,099 negative, 1,205 inactive, 13 fatalities; Marshall rose to 1,653 positive, 14,499 negative, 1,417 inactive, 17 fatalities; and Maury has 5,549 positive, 44,454 negative, 4,609 inactive, 58 fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, Tennessee has reported 344,550 total cases, 3,931,809 negative tests, 4,301 fatalities, and 296,592 inactive or recovered.
