Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police were called to a residence on North Mahr Avenue late last week to a report of a package that was taken after it had been delivered.

The package contained two Dodge truck door mirrors valued at $138.

As the holidays approach keep the following tips regarding packages being delivered: if ordering from a store request delivery to the local store and pick it up; have a package delivered to your work address, schedule delivery for a day when you know you will be home and utilize delivery options such as text notification of delivery and signature receipt of delivery.
