Giles County increased to 2,014 patients Wednesday who has tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,614 are now considered inactive or recovered.
Fifty-six fatalities have now been reported and 344  active cases in Giles County.
Seventy-eight Giles County residents have been hospitalized since early May.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 3,721 positive, 20,880 negative, 3,066 inactive, 48 fatalities; Lincoln has 2,678 positive, 13,021 negative, 2,009 inactive, 26 fatalities; Marshall reported 2,305 positive, 17,322 negative, 1,980 inactive, 26 fatalities; and Maury has 7,724 positive, 52,468 negative, 6,700 inactive, 94 fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has reported 484,285 total cases, 4,605,350 negative tests, 5,668 fatalities, and 411,843 inactive or recovered.
