Giles County increased to 2,240 patients Sunday who have tested positive for COVID-19, with 1,738 are now considered inactive or recovered.
Fifty-six fatalities have been reported with 446 active cases in Giles County.
Eighty-two Giles County residents have been hospitalized since May.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence has 3,960 positive, 21,670 negative, 3,291 inactive, 52 fatalities; Lincoln with 2,879 positive, 13,431 negative, 2,219 inactive, 27 fatalities; Marshall reported 2,510 positive, 18,046 negative, 2,080 inactive, 28 fatalities; and Maury increased to 8,300 positive, 54,551 negative, 7,090 inactive, 95 fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Sunday, Tennessee has reported 519,687 total cases, 4,741,340 negative tests, 6,071 fatalities and 434,977 inactive or recovered.
