Giles County increased to 2,328 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 with 1,749 are now considered inactive or recovered.
Fifty-seven fatalities have now been reported and 522 active case count in the county.
Eighty-two Giles County residents have been hospitalized since May.
Test results in surrounding counties are: Lawrence with 4,016 positive, 21,931 negative, 3,320 inactive, 52 fatalities; Lincoln has 2,940 positive, 13,573 negative, 2,243 inactive, 28 fatalities; Marshall reported 2,564 positive, 18,212 negative, 2,089 inactive, 28 fatalities; and Maury has 8,477 positive, 54,148 negative, 7,133 inactive, 96 fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, Tennessee has reported 529,578 total cases, 4,790,628 negative tests, 6,136 fatalities, and 438,036 inactive or recovered.
