Giles County increased to 2,538 patients Sunday who have tested positive for COVID-19 with 1,942 considered inactive or recovered.
Fatalities have increased to 60 in the county with 536 active case count.
Eighty-four Giles County residents have been hospitalized since early May.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 4,266 positive, 22,431 negative, 3,632 inactive, 57 fatalities; Lincoln has 3,149 positive, 13,823 negative, 2,612 inactive, 31 fatalities; Marshall reported 2,745 positive, 18,647 negative, 2,276 inactive, 28 fatalities; and Maury has 8,956 positive, 56,535 negative, 7,748 inactive, 102 fatalities.
As of Sunday, Tennessee has reported 564,080 total cases, 4,917,841 negative tests, 6,512 fatalities, and 480,227 inactive or recovered.
