The Giles County Sheriff's Department is hiring correctional officers. The starting salary for the day shift is $30,750.00 and for the night shift $31,673. Additional pay is available for those with experience and longevity raises are also provided.
Correctional Officers work 12-hour rotating shifts, 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. until 6 a.m., and off every other weekend for a total of 182 workdays a year.

Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, high school diploma or G.E.D., social security card, birth certificate, and clear criminal history.
