Lois O'Neil (L.O.) Bain
Age 91 born April 21, 1928 in Pinson, TN and resided in Jackson, TN his entire life.
A graduate of Pinson High School in 1946. He retired from Golden Circle Ford Dealership in Jackson as a Parts Manager for 34 years. Mr. Bain passed away on March 14, 2020 in Pulaski, TN at NHC Healthcare with his son bedside.
L.O. is survived by his son Jeff Bain (Donna) of Pulaski, TN and grandchildren: Greg Welch of Memphis; Nathan Bain of Nashville; and Rachel Bain of Dallas. His siblings: Doris McKinney (Owen) of Pinson, TN; Lee Bain (Celia) of Granbury, TX; Carol Bain (sister in law) of Albuquerque, NM.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lois' passion for mechanics of automotive and engines of all types begin as a teenager, through his service as a National Guardsman, to a career with Ford, and retired to be the "go to" neighborhood lawnmower repairman who rarely accepted payment for his hobby work.
He was preceded in death by Leonard and Ruth Brasher Bain (parents), Sara Estes Bain (wife), Janet Bain Welch (daughter), Charles Edward Bain (brother), Jewel Jones Barrett (sister).
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tennessee.
Memorials may be sent to Martin Methodist College Athletic Department, 433 West Madison Street, Pulaski, TN 38478. These funds will be sent aside to support the Life Skills Programming (S.O.A.R.) of the Student-Athletes.
