Mr. Thomas Arsten Gentry of Pulaski,Tennessee was born in Limestone County, Alabama on April 27, 1946. He was the son of the late Robert and Lerlean Gentry.

He was one of seven children.  He entered into eternal rest, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Meadowbrook Healthcare, Pulaski, Tennessee.

Thomas confessed Christ at an early age at Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a hard worker and worked 21 years at Tennessee Stamping until his retirement. 

He was united in holy matrimony to the late Linda Carol Gentry who preceded him in death on December 19, 2012.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Elwood Gentry on December 17, 1986.  

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving children, five daughters: Beverly (Eugene) Gardner, Katina (Michael) Gentry, Renee (Chris) Caudle, Mae (Jimmy) Gilbert, and Vicki Tucker; three sisters:  Sally Black, Linda (Waymon) Reynolds, Alcyorn (John Wade Sr.) White;  three brothers:    L B (Betty) Gentry, George (Marva Lee ) Gentry, and Robert L. (Sherry) Gentry;  14 grandchildren:  Megon and Brittney Gardner, Makenzie and Bryce Dangerfield, Jeremy and La’Channing Randolph, Marcus and  Akiva Gentry, Jarvis,  Jasmine and Gerald Tucker, Breanna and Tierra Linder, Soniyah Caudle; 11 great-grandchildren also survive.

Sister-in-law, Janice Turner; brother-in-law, Wayne (Ida) Randolph and a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Thomas Arsten Gentry will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Jordan Funeral Home, 327 Mill Street, Pulaski, Tenn. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Gilbert Cemetery, Prospect, Tennessee.

Social distancing and wearing of masks is strongly encouraged.
