Rex Alan Pope of Pulaski passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  He was born in Pulaski on May 12, 1963 and was 57 years old.

He was loving and devoted to his family and friends.  He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and was an electrician. He was an avid University of Tennessee Fan and played the guitar. Rex was a long-time employee of Pulaski Rubber in Pulaski and Goodman Mfg. in Fayetteville, TN. He enjoyed building cars and driving his rat-rod. He loved spending time with family and making memories with his granddaughter Kasia.

Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home to help with expenses.

A memorial service will be 1:00pm Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Paster Anthony Bledsoe officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil Hatton Pope and Birdie Beatrice Greenway.

He is survived by his;

Wife, Belinda Daly Pope of Pulaski.

Son, Dylan Pope of Elkmont, AL.

Daughter, Shana Abernathy of Nashville, TN.

Daughter, Kayla Smith of Pulaski.

Granddaughter, Kasia Smith of Pulaski (apple of his eye).

Sister Brenda Hardin (Larry) of Marquez, TX.

Sister Gloria Jennings of Moss Point, MS.

Brother Brent Pope (Connie) of Minor Hill, TN.

Brother Wade Pope (Debbie) of Ardmore, TN.

Brother Tony (Susan) Elkmont, AL.
