Wayne Kenneth McClure passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  He was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on December 19, 1948 and was 72 years old. 

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Wayne worked for over 50 years for the Giles and Lincoln County’s Co-Op. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid University of  Tennessee Vols fan.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 5th from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvie Tipp and Lucille Thompson McClure and brother, Gary Donald McClure. Mother-in-law, Lillie Ruth Hughes. Brother-in-law, Wendell Cain Hughes.

He is survived by his,

Wife of 46 years Sherrie McClure of Frankewing, Tennessee.

Son, Justin McClure of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Daughter Andrea Carpenter (Craig Holt) of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Grandchildren, Sean Carpenter, Dylan Carpenter, Tristin Begley, Jonathan (Megan) Holt, Karlee Holt.

Nieces and Nephews, Chris (Tiffiny) Sharp, Dana Sharp, Heather (Eric) Shore.

Gary (Melissa) McClure. Marcie (Jimmy) Chambers. Troy (Melanie) McClure.

Sister-n-laws- Eva Gail Hughes Brooks, Brenda Whitworth McClure.
