The USA Shooting Board of Directors elected Martin Methodist Clay Target head coach Chad Whittenburg as Chairman at the organization’s first meeting of 2019 in Colorado Springs earlier this month.

“I am very excited about the direction of the USA Shooting Board,” Whittenburg said. “(Vice Chair Rick Marsh) and I are very like-minded, passionate, that have both been involved with this organization for many years.”

“We are lucky to have two businessmen with such a strong background in the many levels of this organization who are eager to share their knowledge, experience and their voices on this board,” said USA Shooting CEO Keith Enlow. “They’ve been involved in USA Shooting from the grassroots-level on up so I am excited about the leadership they can bring to these positions.”

Whittenburg and the RedHawks begin their spring competition season next week when they travel to Savannah, Georgia for the ACUI Regional Championships.
