Six members of the Martin Methodist Competitive Cheer team were recently recognized as NAIA All-Americans and NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Koby Houser, Keye Matthews and Kyndal Thomason were all recognized by the national office for their achievements on the mat this season as Houser and Matthews were named NAIA All-American bids while Thomason earned an Honorable Mention nod.

Houser, a freshman from Summertown, earned All-American honors in his very first season of competition as a RedHawk.

Matthews, a senior from Columbia, earned his third All-American honor in as many seasons. Matthews was on the NAIA's inaugural All-American list in 2017 and he followed up with the same award in 2018. Matthews is one of just three, three-time All-Americans in NAIA history.

Thomason, a freshman from White House, was named Honorable Mention in her first season of competition as a RedHawk.

Academically, three RedHawks were recognized for their commitment to excellence in the classroom. Katie Heard, McKinley Heard and Tori Williams are were recognized as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
