Two members of the Martin Methodist Men’s Bowling team and Lindsay Brown of the women’s squad were recognized as NAIA All-Americans, the national office announced Thursday afternoon.
Additionally, Bob Learn, Jr., was named NAIA Men’s Bowling Coach of the Year.
Junior Brady Adler was named First Team All-American, one of just five student-athletes to receive the honor. Senior teammate Brandon Magennis was named Second Team All-American.
In her very first season as a RedHawk, freshman Lindsay Brown earned a Second Team All-American nod.
The All-American honors are the first in their respective program’s history.
Learn, in his third year as head coach of both the men and women’s programs, earned his first-ever national Coach of the Year honor. Learn earned the award after claiming a second-straight Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year honor.
Learn, a Spring Hill resident, led the RedHawk men’s program to the outright MSC Regular Season Title. The RedHawks went 67-3 during the five conference regular season tournaments.
