COLUMBIA STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE HAS ANNOUNCED THAT ALUMNA JANELLE WILLIAMS WILL DELIVER THE COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS TO THE GRADUATING CLASS AT THE 2018 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 15TH.  WHILE AT COLUMBIA STATE, WILLIAMS SERVED AS VICE PRESIDENT OF THE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH CLUB AND WAS THE FIRST FEMALE STUDENT FROM COLUMBIA STATE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE AEROSPACE PROGRAM AT NASA'S MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER.  WILLIAMS IS CURRENTLY AN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING LEAD WITH THE BOEING COMPANY.  THE CEREMONY IS SET TO BEGIN AT 10 AND WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE WEBSTER ATHLETIC CENTER ON THE COLUMBIA CAMPUS.  FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ARRIVE EARLY AS SEATS ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME BASIS.
