KELSO HERSTON, A PIONEER IN THE MUSCLE SHOALS MUSIC INDUSTRY AND MEMBER OF THE ALABAMA MUSIC HALL OF FAME, DIED TUESDAY IN NASHVILLE.  ACCORDING TO THE TIMES DAILY, HERSTON, ALSO KNOWN AS THE MUSIC MAN,  SPENT MORE THAN 40 YEARS IN THE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY AS A SESSION GUITAR PLAYER, PRODUCER AND A PUBLISHER OF MORE THAN 5000 NATIONAL ACCLAIMED JINGLES.  HERSTON WAS ALSO THE MUSIC DIRECTOR FOR THE LONG RUNNING CBS TELEVISION SHOW, HEE HAW.  HE WAS 87 YEARS OLD.
